Returns information

Who pays for return postage?

Customers pay for the return of unwanted items. We recommend a tracked service and keeping proof of postage. If an item is faulty, misdescribed or incorrect, we will cover reasonable return costs where required by law.

Are original delivery charges refundable?

For voluntary returns outside statutory cancellation rights, original delivery charges are not refundable. When you cancel an entire qualifying UK online order within the statutory period, we refund the cost of our least expensive standard delivery option. Any additional cost of choosing an upgraded service is not refundable. Partial returns may be treated differently.

When will I receive my refund?

For a qualifying UK cancellation, we refund without undue delay and within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or evidence they have been sent back, whichever is earlier. Refunds are made to your original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise. Your payment provider may take additional time to display the funds.

Can I try on an item?

Yes. You can inspect and try on clothing as you would in a shop. Please avoid wearing it beyond trying on, washing or altering it. Where excessive handling reduces its value, a lawful, proportionate deduction may apply. Missing original packaging or tags does not automatically cancel your statutory rights.

Can I exchange an item?

If you need a different size or colour, contact us with your order number and preferred replacement. We offer one direct voluntary exchange per eligible item, subject to availability.

You are responsible for returning the original unwanted item and for the delivery charge for the replacement. Once we have received and checked the original item, we will send a secure payment invoice or link to your email address or mobile number. The replacement will be dispatched after payment is received.

If your preferred replacement is unavailable, we will help arrange an alternative or a return. This voluntary exchange process does not limit your cancellation rights. For a faulty, misdescribed or incorrect item, we will provide the appropriate remedy without additional charges where required by law.

What if my item is faulty, damaged or incorrect?

Contact admin@foziaarif.com with your order number and details of the issue. Photographs can help us resolve it quickly, but your statutory rights are not conditional on sending photographs or reporting within 48 hours. We will provide the appropriate remedy under applicable consumer law.

Can I return sale or personalised items?

Sale items generally retain the same statutory rights as full-price items. Clearly personalised or made-to-specification goods may be exempt from change-of-mind cancellation, but faulty-goods rights still apply. Choosing a standard listed size or colour does not by itself make an item personalised.

International returns

Eligible international orders may be returned. Direct exchanges are not offered on international orders; for another size or colour, return the original item and place a new order. For unwanted items, you arrange and pay for return postage where permitted by applicable law. Please contact Customer Care before sending your parcel for return instructions and customs information. Contacting us is not a condition of exercising cancellation rights.

Customs declaration for international returns

All international returns must be accurately declared as returned merchandise. Mark the parcel and customs documentation RETURNED GOODS — RELIEF CLAIMED.

  • Identify Fozia Arif as the original UK retailer and include your original order number.
  • Include an invoice or order confirmation where appropriate.
  • Describe the items accurately, including the correct quantity and value, and complete your courier’s required customs forms.

Do not mark the parcel as a gift or deliberately undervalue the goods. Correct paperwork may support customs relief but does not guarantee that charges will be waived.

Customs Charges on International Returns

If Fozia Arif incurs import duties, import VAT, customs clearance fees or related charges when receiving a voluntary international return, actual, non-recoverable costs may be deducted from your refund where permitted by applicable law and terms disclosed before purchase. Any deduction will be explained and supported by a breakdown of the charges. We will not deduct estimated or arbitrary amounts, or pass on charges that can be recovered through an available customs relief or refund process. No deduction will conflict with mandatory consumer rights. Import charges paid to a local authority or courier may not be refundable by Fozia Arif; you may be able to reclaim eligible charges from the relevant authority.

Return postage and parcel responsibility

For unwanted items, you are responsible for choosing a suitable courier, paying return postage where permitted, packaging the goods securely, completing customs documents accurately and keeping tracking details and proof of postage. We recommend tracked and insured return shipping. If a parcel is lost or damaged, contact your courier about an investigation or insurance claim and let us know your order number and tracking details. A refund will not automatically be refused because a courier loses a parcel, and liability for transit damage will be assessed according to the circumstances and applicable law.

Faulty or incorrect goods and local rights

For faulty, damaged, misdescribed or incorrect goods, contact us with your order details. We will provide the remedy required by applicable law. Consumer protections can vary by country; nothing here limits mandatory rights that apply to your purchase.

What are my UK cancellation rights?

For most online goods, you can cancel without giving a reason within 14 days after the day you receive your goods (or the last item of a separately delivered order). Tell us clearly by email before the deadline; you then have another 14 days to send them back. You may also cancel before delivery. Some legally defined exceptions apply, including certain clearly personalised goods and eligible sealed hygiene products after unsealing. These exceptions do not remove your rights for faulty or misdescribed goods.
